In the chrome steel version the frame is consisted of 5 different pieces screwed together and that's why there are these seams on the frame . In the stainless steel version the frame is one continuous piece so there not seams . The white barcelona is 100% genuine and it is made by chrome steel . My chrome barcelona has these seams too .

Go to 12:48 , it shows the knoll factory in italy where the frames are made of chrome steel , and you ll see these seams .
