A bump on the knee? You must have nine lives Spanky…
my car only looked that bad after a wreck once-- and I woke up in the amber tunnel of the cat-scan machine. Yes that explains it.
(I like the way your "die hard" battery quietly says it all in the photo too)

My God, Spanky!
I'm quite glad to read that you didn't require an obituary. Which knee?
Fondly,
Your Aunt Mark

Right knee (not the wrong knee, god forbid!) OK, I did have some interesting bruises from the shoulderbelt and I wheezed a bit after inhaling the talcum powder that was all over the airbags, one of which was pink and the other yellow, which you will appreciate, Auntie! No darling prints, though, just solid colors. I meant to speak to Volvo about that but I forgot. I suppose it was their Swedish pragmatism at work.
Yeah, it died pretty hard. I give the crumple zone a lot of credit.
I do miss that car! I stuck a couple of sofas in it with no problem at all! Only one at a time, but still. I have a CRV now which has more cargo space but you can't make the floor of it flat without losing a lot of length, which makes sofas hard to load. OH WELL. Parts and service are way cheaper!
