Authentic Wegner Papa Bear Chair??

The large "paws" on that chair look rather swollen and clumsy to my untrained eyeballs. Just so they don't add a third leg to the front.

The top half of the chair looks oversized and disproportionate all around. But it's kind of cool... like Papa Bear's evil older brother.

The "Ambassador's" Papa Bear I was just perusing an old Scan catalog from the 70s, and this version of the Papa Bear with the wide paws is in there. So it is a legit Wegner. It is a different model: AP Stolen model number 69. And if it is in an old Scan, it definitely wasn't exclusively made for ambassadors.
