Hi trusty team!
I'm new to the Knoll womb chair, and was wondering if anyone with some background can easily look at this womb chair and tell me if it's authentic! I just LOVE the color and the fabric looks to be in wonderful condition!
I can send more pictures when I go take a look tonight!
Best,
Nicole

If you could get one more picture of the weld on the bottom of the ottoman or the chair that would help.
Based on the screws on the bottom of the ottoman, it looks right BUT there's something about the back cushion on the chair that looks odd...

What fastfwd said.
yup,
Aunt Mark
EDIT: Heck, the thickness of the steel legs are too plump..and the cushions look clumsy. Made in China. Probably by a smoker.

In addition to the girth Mark was alarmed by, the curve on the legs of the ottoman are also flared instead of straight.
The flare on the arms on the chair itself also appear to droop a bit wheras the should be flat. That and, yes, the cushions don't look right.
I was able to get a closer look at your ebay listing and noticed that the weld did look very clean, so there's that. The more I look at it, the whole frame is not of the right proportions... Looks comfortable though.
