I can't find any Herman Miller Markings anywhere on the chair. There are two paper stickers on the bottom as shown in the photos. One sticker has the Ea435 code, which leads me to believe the chair may be real. Did HM make these chairs without the HM stamp? Thanks for your time.

Authentic Herman Miller, circa 2002.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know why HM stopped marking the chair?

Everything looks right to me, including the sticker on the bottom of the chair that spells out model # and production date.
Nice looking chair!

Thanks raulduke. I tried calling HM about it but no one could give me a straight answer. Not sure why they wouldn't put the Herman Miller label on the chair (or maybe it fell off) but it is indeed a very nice chair.

Here are similar photos from my office chair. While I'm no HM/Eames expert, I can't imagine a knockoff would get so many details right, including the sticker on the underside.
By the way, this is probably the most comfortable desk chair I have ever sat in. Leather feel, foam density, cushion positioning, and tilt-back feel are all perfect for me.
