I just got one for £37 inc postage from USA.
So Arthur I will not be paying you £100 in this instance, sorry. I hope it doesn't take you too long to earn the same amount elsewhere

Every thread that turns...
Every thread that turns nasty seems to have a common denominator. Its really just getting silly at this point. Makes we want to spend my time elsewhere...sad, no?

but I just said that I...
but I just said that I obtained my own copy. I therefore have no need to procure any more copies of the same book. I am not a hoarder.

Just been looking through my...
Just been looking through my copies of the Glenister books. How frequently do the items therein come up? Have they all turned into 'classics' like the "rock n rest" chair, and the Day items, or is much of it just nice stuff in a book now?
Having bought quite a few books on MCM stuff recently, I have to say that I prefer the period books to the large ones that Taschen et al plough out every year.
Are there any other decent books about design actually from the 50s/60s/70s? is it all design journals?
PS I see that the Glenisters sold on eBay for £160 quid. Are some people too thick to just do an amazon search?

Thick.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Just the other day, I pointed some guy to a £40 book on Amazon after he complained that he couldn't find it anywhere for less than £100.

Actually, it didn't show up...
Actually, it didn't show up in the UK Amazon when I searched because that seller does not ship to the UK. I can't be thick for not noticing something that is not listed nor offered to the UK.
I would have been thick had I bought the book for 100 quid.

You set them up I'll knock em down!
You walked straight into that one lit!
Some of the furniture in the Glenister books where one offs or woodwork school projects so are not likely to be found but I think the designs and the general make up of alot of the furniture can be found in the mass produced designs that followed.
