A partner in a law firm once told me that there a thousands of graduates that know the law (they are a dime a dozen), they need rainmakers (people who bring in business). They may even look at spelling (netwerk) as a criteria.
I would also look for a person who thinks on their feet and knows how to do their own homework.

Interesting to see that the lightbulb Wasch intended is quite different from the ones the lamp is usually pictured with today ( http://www.retrostart.com/item/10995/krekel---cricket-desk-lamp-by-otto-...).
Wasch' own choice makes the Grasshopper quite a bit longer (I just measured mine, marked Raak, and it is only 25 cm long, bulb included) and also gives it a leaner look.
