What marks it as original? He says it is.
Can't tell if it's a chrome base. Doesn't look it.
He says it's an original white base that's stamped.
Needs to be reup'd tho for sure.
Either way, is it wise to get? What would you do?

That tiny photo makes it difficult to tell, but the backrest shape looks wrong (the Artifort chair's backrest is not symmetrical top-to-bottom), the base construction looks wrong (and it looks painted, and it appears to be peeling), and the upholstery looks torn and stained.
