I picked this lamp up at an estate sale the other day. Found it abandoned in the garage for god knows how many years, as one of the connections needs fixing (working on that one).
Anyone have any idea of who the maker for this lamp could be? There are portions of it that seems like they'd be by Arredoluce, but I can't find one that has these sort of connections.
We got a few other nice lamps from this estate, including a Gino Sarfatti Laurel floor lamp (also in the garage!) and a C. Jere Laurel table lamp. Missed out on the Thomas Moses Lightolier Triennale lamp :/ Anyway, what I'm trying to say, is they had nice lamps!
So, does anyone know this lamp?
Whoa - there it is! Nice...
Whoa - there it is! Nice work, Norm 🙂 Thanks so much!
And thanks for the compliment jdip - that's the other lamp we picked up at the estate sale. We were psyched about it. I've basically confirmed the Laurel part (as it has the same distinctive socket sets as another Laurel lamp I have), but I've got some more research to do to confirm the Gino Sarfatti attribution I've seen across the web...I kind of suspect that to be wishful thinking as they were all on dealer's websites. In any event, it's a super fun piece, and we were happy to bring it home.
Gino Sarfatti attribution?
Doubt that.....I have a few of the single head lamps like that which are not that uncommon. Yours with the 3 heads, i have only seen a handful of times. It is actually on my wish list. Are all the diffusers present? You want to see a kick ass version? check the attached link. I wanted it but not for that price. It wasnt just the asking price. They wanted something ridiculous like 350 for shipping

Yeah, that's what I...
Yeah, that's what I suspected. I took a stroll through Sarfatti's decopedia profile, and this lamp lacks some of the elegance and quality of his. I mean, this one's nice, but his are...NICE.
It does have all three diffusers, but two of them are a little melted around the central hole.
The pole lamp version's gorgeous. Love the brass/walnut combo. Did you consider planning your next vacation to Stanwood, Washington and doing a local pick-up? 🙂 I may or may not have seriously planned a 2,300 mile roadtrip over a three-day weekend for something like this once...before my more sensible girlfriend put the kabosh on it (it made economic sense, I swear!). Anyway, good luck man - I hope one of these things turns up for you!
