It's been a while...
Quick question: Does anyone know why and when the support struts on Arne Wahl Iversen's No 56 desk where changed from Brass(?) to wood?
I've just picked up one with the metal struts, but have usually seen them in wood.

There are different variations of the model 56, some with drawer and letter compartments - some with two drawers, some with folding mirror at the desk surface - some not, and ... some with brass struts - some with teak struts.
