Are these original Knoll Table + Chairs?

Hey,
Looking at buying this table and chairs set and just want to make sure both are original items. The chairs have stickers but little unsure on the table, especially has the bracket looking bit between the top of the stem and the table top which I haven't noticed before? Any help would be appreciated.

Original Knoll. You can ask if the table base is marked or get a photo.

For the record,
I am not married to Waffle but it nice to know that he is now nervous that he may be traded as an archery target for a nice dinette set.
