Woody
he never sent me any more detailed pictures. He just quickly backtracked from "vintage 1948" to "Vitra". I still might possibly be able to get them, if you think I made a mistake. He was quick to point out, however, that he had around 27 responses to his email. I should point out that this is on a website that caters to english-speaking expats in Switzerland. He, (Mr. Know-It-All) is in Zurich and I am in Lausanne.
It is not normally a website that buys and sells. It is a website that expats frequent to find out how to do sh*t in this country. So, I can't imagine that his audience was all that overwhelming, but he says he had 27 responses to buy the stuff in less than 18 hours.
Why does this all smack of a shyster (sp?) car dealer in Des Moines?

Just cause he says he had 27 responses
doesn't mean he actually did. It's just salesmanship.

P.S.
No offense to the actual Iowans of Des Moines, it was just a convenient euphemism. I could have just have easily have said a used car salesman in um, Wichita.
