I came across an interesting piece from Fristho of Holland recently. I hadn't heard of them - but I'm fairly new to this world.
Of course I googled and found a few pieces that have been sold in the past, but nothing about the company itself, or when it was in operation.

Not much that I could add...
...other than that they were still around whenI left Holland in 1979. I do not know all the designers they worked with but with some level of certainty : Martin Visser the talented designer and incredible art collector and designer for Spectrum Bergeijk. Also with certainty, Kho Liang Le who in spite of an early dead (never build too strong an engine in a VW-bus) had such a formidable career. Those who remember the former Schiphol airportknow what I mean

I wonder if these lesser known companies don't retain value as well as the ones who have been archived and catalogued extensively.
For example, if I buy this Fristho credenza which I like (I like it especially because it's large and taller than most, which we need for a certain space), I wonder if I will be able to re-sell it at a later date for similar to what I paid for it.
With Heywood or some others, I can often find pieces that resell for what I paid initially. Any thoughts on resale value of lesser known places like Fristho? Will a good design always sell? Or does the name matter?
(Obviously the name is hanging me up a little - only because the piece is fairly expensive).
