Here are the photos of my roasewood sideboard. It needs a bit of spit and polish and some damage needs to be repaired.

BP&S Buffet
When I got this buffet in 2006 after my parent's passing, I tried to locate info on Bernh Pederson & Son, Eskilstrup, to no avail; so happy to have it now! Its dimensions are 65"W x 31"H x 19.5"D, and is in great original condition.
They bought it in the mid-'70's from my father's boss, who bought it new in Lake Forest, IL, near Chicago. The solid construction and diappearing Tambor doors are a delight, admired by all who see it. I would like to know the approximate date of manufacture, as it's a keeper!
Thanks for any help,
TG

Thanks for the pics, that rosewood looks swank! Do you have the top unit or just the bottom? I actually used it w just the bottom for our TV for awhile, but out new house has no built-in's so we are using it for a sideboard next to the dining table. Now I need to find a nice credenza for the TV!

ID guy no top with mine. It doesn't look like it ever came with a top as there are no holes or marks.
Unfortunately the veneer on top has a burn mark which went through to the wood below. So It needs a new piece of veneer on top. Just hope I can get the finish to match all over!
Buffet/Sideboard.
Hi Antonio,
I don't want to sound like a dummy, but I don't know if it's Rosewood or Teak; it has a reddish tone to it, not honey-colored as the one with the chair and blue lamp (sudio shot) above. Regardless, I love it and it makes a dramatic statement as it's the first thing you see when you walk in my door.
I hope we hear back from Thoams Pedersen soon, as I'm sure his father would be honored by all the fuss we're making over their fine furniture. I'm dying to know the approximate date of manufacture! Mine never had the top piece.
Keep looking, there will be one out there somewhere with your name on it...

Hi TG,
I am sure yours looks terrific, much better in real life. I suppose both colors are teak with a different finish, maybe Thomas Petersen can tell us more about that.
You won't believe it but the one on the studio shot was missed by me in an ebay auction here in Germany because at that time I couldn't decide if that would be the right one. And now I cry myself to sleep every night (C:
I hope to read from Thomas soon, too

Got Pillow Cases?
Antonio,
You must be washing a lot of pillow cases over that ebay loss ;). Believe it or not, I kept the buffet in the garage for three years before finally bringing it in the house 4 days ago! My sister was supposed to get it, but she went through a divorce and was unable to come and get it (has no place for it), so I finally brought it in.
She can have it (someday), when she gets her life together, but for the time being, she has visitation rights, and will have to admire it in my living room...

Hi all,
Sorry for the delay. Time is flying. My father has kept some old catalogues, pictures etc. and I will receive them this comming friday. Afterwards I will scan it all and share it with you. I have also printed out this thread and I will reply with his comments.
Tulipman
My wife picked out the green and I agree it is a really fun color sets off the teak and grey tiles quite well. It is a Behr paint from Home Cheapo, I can dig up the sample if you want for the actual name if you want.
Thomas, can't wait to see the old catalogues! Thanks for your input on this thread, really cool to see.
The weekend can't come soon enough!
Thanks Thomas for your kind replies, and thanks in advance for you and your Father's time in responding to our inquiries. I know we'll all be waiting anxiously for the True Word on our lovely furnishings!
My buffet is the first thing you see when you enter my home, and now that my parents are gone, is a constant reminder of them, as if they're still with us.
Best regards,
Tom Gibson
