My parents have an upholstered rocker custom made by upholster and custom furniture maker CORN in Atlanta, GA. The original label is in tact and it says it was made (and signed) on Aug. 16th 1965. The chair is in good condition, original upholstery and wood carved trim (craftsman style). Please advise if you have heard of this company and if chair has any value.
Thanks!
Karen
Hi Karen,
Corn Upholstery ...
Hi Karen,
Corn Upholstery is in fact still around, as is the original proprietor, Larry Corn. Just had a chair refinished by them. Unfortunately, I have to say, I was a little disappointed. I sent the chair, plus $1200.00 worth of Spinneybeck leather, and there were several corners cut in the finishing stages of the job.
Look them up, you should be able to find them in the directory.

I am a relative of the Corn Family and I work there. This is the website although it is still under construction.
