I bought 4 items on ebay from a moscow dealer, the dealer is not knocking anything off the postage and is claiming that with postage and customs forms they need to fill that the charge is $240 for a 7 kilo parcel. They are charging $25 postage for a pen......its unusual but nothing huge or heavy.I think the dealer is overcharging for their time/effort.Is Moscow expensive ? Is there lots of red tape ? anyone any experience here ?

i sold my 2003 Mercedes M...
i sold my 2003 Mercedes ML on autotrader and it was bought by a Russian in New Jersey and shipped to Moscow,
seems the Russians have a thing for used SUVs with 50,000 miles on them, they don't have to pay a instate tax on them, and they a re considered a great deal, That is what Boris told me the Russian who bought my ML . 2 years ago,
but no Boris or taker on my cayenne s I put it in the auto trader for $35,000 US DOLLARS with 43,000 miles , a good price and no takers or callers , till last night and some Russian called and was interested in it, but I was so frustrated that not one call came through in 3 weeks . I dumped on a use car lot for 30k leaving a couple bucks on the table but i got tired of waiting for the Russians to call.
this is all very strange to me since i am in Oklahoma
Boris said they like cars from this region cause they know they have mild winters with little salt on the Roads and it does not hurt the cars. like Jersey or New York, glad to hear we are good for something down here in Oklahoma,
