Oh no!!!!
I have to say i really do not like these! whats happend to the sleek look that apple always had (apart from the first couple of mac's :-D)? they look more main stream like all the PC laptops out there (e.g HP)..... not happy at all, i loved the look of the old all black macbook and the old apple monitors looked awesome the new ones not so much...........

I am happy to report that I was able to make an even exchange
between the prior MacBook model and the new one, and oh man, am I glad I did. First off I didn't need firewire (despite it's slightly higher transfer rates) as I do not edit video (anymore). All of my devices can be connected via BUS cable.
It is sleeker, and while the actual difference in measurements relative to thickness are miniscule at best, visually it just looks slimmer. The colors on the screen are more brilliant. There is an "Instant On" element to the screen. The thirty percent efficiency in powering the screen realizes a 30 minute increase in battery life, from 4.5 to 5 hours.
The all in one trackpad and button is a joy as you can now click or double click across the entire bottom half of the track pad without having to push your thumb all the way down to the bottom of the case. The keyboard is backlit which will come in handy when searching for one of the infrequently used keys in the low light of transatlantic flights. And lastly, it is visually stunning piece of design that just feels a bit more substantial then its predecessor. I would highly recommend buying one.

Other than it being really pretty, it's not too different than the older macbooks. I would wish for the firewire like many others.
