Hey guys,

So as I buy different bits of furniture and various other pieces here and there, I usually try to keep track of where I bought it, what it's story is, designer, price, etc etc. But I'm struggling to find a way to keep this organized on my computer.

I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for some software that might make this easier for my Mac. I've tried using spreadsheets, but it's hard to include all the info and even harder to sort things, and nigh impossible to effectively include a photo of the item.

I've found a number of packages that cater to book or CD collectors, where you can scan in the UPC or barcode, but I'm hoping to find something a little more general focused. (I'm hoping to use it to catalog all of my little collections, not just furniture!).

Thanks for any help guys!

Thinglink is a good option
I've been using the free web service Thinglink to list all of my things. It works pretty well and you get to see who has the same things as you.
