Any ideas on this oak carved geometric design cabinet 1950's?!  

Hi all,
I'd been eyeing up this cabinet for a couple of weeks at a local second hand shop before taking the plunge and finally buying it. I know it won't be to everyone's taste, and I'm not even 100% sure it's mine but there is something beautiful about the way it's made. It has wooden door hinges, brass shelf fittings, a lock that goes up and down into the frame at the top and bottom of the door rather than like a normal lock, but the dream topping in my eyes is the geometric carved panels on the doors. There are no markings to suggest where is was made or by whom and I can't seem to find anything similar in any source books/internet. I'd be interested in any opinons on this as even the age is a bit of a puzzle. Looking foward to all responses.
