(and yes, I could have put
the cable box and stuff inside the buffet but this was a short-term set-up and I didn't want to cut holes in the back of a nice Danish piece that I may end up selling later.)

Great ideas,gentlemen!
Thanks for all your suggestions, some nice ideas.I do have the Beogram turntable which is a work of art and will somehow be the key displayed component along with the speakers of course.I hate exposed wires,so will engineer a good way to hide them, and I just missed a B&O 47"cabinet,receiver and cd player,(all for $200) on CL!! -Dang!

ughh, tube amps.tube amps...
ughh, tube amps.
tube amps are the equivalent of putting $3000 dollar 22" inch chrome rims on a 1987 buick riviera. Sure it's flashy, but its completely inefficient and the performance sucks.

Old pic of my set up, wires...
Old pic of my set up, wires etc are tidy now though! I don't want to drill holes in the Knoll credenza, and having seperates stacked on top of one another is not a good option (pic taken just after decoration).

In case there's any
confusion, I didn't attach the picture ledge to the back of my Danish buffet. It's screwed onto the wall.
