I have an opportunity to purchase what could be an unusual Hans Wegner sofa/bed for a very reasonable price, but I am not 100% sure it is Wegner (the piece has no markings). The same piece was recently for sale at the ridiculously expensive Wyeth gallery in NY (for $9500!), so I am linking to a cached version of the page. They say it is Wegner but theirs is also unmarked. The style and quality make me think it is Wegner but it certainly is much less common than the other Wegner daybeds, and typically Wegner pieces are marked. Just curious if anyone might know for sure?
Thanks!

I'm certainly no expert but it seems to me that Getama would have marked the piece with their name as well as Wegner's. When a company paid an a designer (and certainly one with Wegner's reputation) for their design I'd think they would tout that fact. After all, his name carried cachet. Most of the Wegner pieces I've had as well as the Getama pieces I've seen are marked with his name, why would that design not be?
