I found this table at an Estate Sale and ecstatic as I was.. I got home and realized it was too large for my dining area. I had purchased blu dot chairs- as I was not feeling the original chairs. Now, I don't know what to do with it.. I need it gone. Though the wood inlay turns off so many potential buyers so I considered altering it so that the inlay matched with the wood of the blu dot chairs.. though I feel like I am stripping the table of it's integrity and any potential value.
What are your opinions? I only ask because I tend to make impulsive decisions- and my friends could care less about design so I can't turn to them... all I have is you. :C)
leave it
I am not a furniture expert by any means, I do refinish some furniture and I would not take out the inlays at all, the are very unique and I could not imagine anyone not liking it, also the inlay's add extra work for the manufacture, and you know f it's more work, then it's more $$$$
