I picked this up a few weeks ago at the Share House in Ann Arbor for $2.12. It was covered in shelf paper, nicotine and some sort of pickled finish, which had a simulated grain. It's 3/4" plywood with finished Teak on both sides. I imagine it was a kit piece. Now with Watco Natural.
For the price paid and the hour or so it took me to do it I can't complain. It's a rudimentary piece, but I like it.
I'm thinking of buying some solid teak edging veneer to finish off the exposed plywood edges.
