Hi all,
Can anyone help me identify this piece? I've scoured the resources I know of, including this forum, but still can't come up with a conclusion.
I'm thinking it's Knoll or Steelcase, but am aware it can be another maker as well.
Here's all the relevant info I have:
-seat and back cushions are fixed
-3 button tufting on back cushions only
-wood base, segmented construction
-heavy and well built
-going out on a limb but appears to be upholstered in Knoll Cato textile.
That's all I know. Please let me know if anyone can ID this one for me. Sorry for the low quality pics, I pulled them from the ad online.
Cheers!
Josh
I think it is Steelcase...

I'm not that great with furniture ID, but the photos posted by mvalen clinch it, as far as I'm concerned!
Steelcase is good quality furniture. I had a set of sled base arm chairs from an office awhile back and they were very well made (though impossible to sell, for some reason--ended up giving them away!) They were purchased new in NYC in 1981 and had the same Florence Knoll look as your sofa, but with chrome instead of wood.
