My observations have been different. The guy jumps into threads constantly when he has nothing of value to add.
Again, he's not the only one to do it. Theres a small group of bitter unwelcoming senior citizens here who enjoy taking a piss on everyone else's posts.

I've been posting here for several years and have tried to be helpful whenever possible.

Robert1960 is a true stalwart of this forum - knowledgeable, patient and courteous. Maybe Arthur didn't appreciate his joke this time but their both decent types who I'm sure will make up and get along in future. foxxy on the other hand is just a no nothing loudmouth whose usefulness to DA is nil.

Viewership is about a thousand times larger than actual membership on this site because of people like robert60 and the folks who will likely support him in this thread.
Fact is they scare people off. Don't mind them, theyll likely be dying off over the next few years and then hopefully the nicer people whill shine through.

Every time there's some sour, whiny post about the forum and its active members I can never recall a singular helpful or insightful entry from the member making it. Maybe if buttpirate#1, frowny and the lot learn something between now and when the old guard are laid to rest, they'll be as cordial and giving as the current membership? I doubt it.

I am playing the lottery this week because I must be able to see into the future given the heading of my OP, this has certainly delivered.
For the record I am not upset with anyones response, I have not taken any offence at any comments and I was merely jabbing back at Robert.
I would like to add that what may seem quite aggresive and rude would be considered light every day chat in the UK banter if you will. Find out what annoys someone and then poke gently or strongly depending on the occasion or amount of alcohol consumed but always with a wink.
I will however be calling back the guy with the garage to get a picture of this blasted chair so I can turn my futile thread into a phoenix!!
