It's funny that the american look
would start with a swedish Ericofon...and include a Barcelona chair, but an interesting thing is that on the sixth minut of part two, a house is chown with solar panels. Too bad that 50 years later it is still an exceptional feature on any building.

I too noticed the solar panels, but quickly dismissed them as sunscreen. I'll have to watch it again. Agree Koen, 50 years and still an exception...unbelievable!

If you have the patience, watch the other two segments
After the big, mostly tasteful setup in Reel One, it's tragic/horrifying/hilarious to see what the Chevy "styling" team comes up with. I'd love to have seen what kind of car would have resulted if functionality, economy of means, restriction of ornament, etc. had been taken to heart. The Avanti?
