These chairs aren't outstanding but they do evoke something of the spider or insect far more effectively and with some subtlety.

I rather doubt subtlety is the goal here. It does look a bit homespun but you could sure do a lot worse than The Amazing Spider Chair®.

I have to
wonder why I was invited to send for a private viewing of the bottom of The Amazing Spider Chair®, rather than having a photo posted for all to see. Maybe there's proprietary secret structural technology going on under the seat -- or maybe vast wads of duct tape ?

My kid suggested
that the proper venue for The Amazing Spider Chair?© would be a comic book convention.
(Actually she said that that would be the only appropriate venue. Slightly different meaning.)
