The answer is yes. The "sky is the limit" to the number of versions of Eames Tandem Sling seating that have been produced over the years. I saw a "previously enjoyed" version with a small laminate table between the two seats recently at a commercial Herman Miller dealer. It was a "buy back" from a remodeled office and the price was very low.

Nope, that's not what I saw-but thanks. Thinking it was an older knockoff. Will go through my Furniture Forums tonight and see what I can dig up. An astounding amountr of period HM and Knoll knokoffs to be found.

Jesgord, there certainly was
Aluminum Group tandem seating. Not the sling tandem. I clearly remember it in the Eastern Airlines terminal at Washington National in the mid-sixties. I do not remember upholstered arms, however.
