Hello there,

I have know about your forum for a long time. I am hoping members could help. I have owned a reclining aluminium group chair with the early mechanism upholstered in black vinyl with early antlers, for number of years now.

One thing I have noticed is that it does not have any stamp on the underside of the antlers, unlike others I have seen. I seem to recall that it had a Herman Miller sticker on it, although on inspecting it just now this does not seem to be there anymore. Perhaps t has fallen off in the interim the years.

Has anyone else ever seen this?

Thanks. I can post images if it would help

Noss

Yeah.
Herman Miller switched from stamps to stickers at some point between the late 60s and the early 90s.

Thanks for your reply. What about the early antlers, when did they change?
I shall try and post up some pics in the next day or so
Thanks

Reached the limit of my knowledge.
The unstamped chairs I've seen have all been much newer than yours.
