So I finally picked up this couch. Naturally, I will not sit on it until it is completely reupholstered which is something that will be completed in the next few days, so for now it is in the garage. Earlier someone posted a color scheme. I have plans to repaint the interior to a "white-brown" color or possibly a darker grey. I have those orange Tendo Mokko chairs alongside that may be reupholstered as well.
Please excuse the back yard project which will be tackled in the Spring. The Saarenin chairs are in there for the moment so do not consider them in your evaluation, in that, a cado system will replace that section of the living room.
Also, how does one feel about mixing colors of wood. I found this Gilber Rhode designed piece and I am reluctant to sell it, however, is there a way to make various wood colors work. For example, walnut in the couch/Tendo Mokko chairs, Dux teak/travertine coffee table, a lighter wood Gilbert Rhode side board, and then look what is to left minus the pole lamp which is going to be sold.
