ACHILLE CASTIGLIONI Lamp??  

it's a knock off.......
It's a knock off of the famous flos lamp,
probably american with italian marble.
Put next to the real castglioni lamp and the ugly duckling hurts the eyes.

I can assure you this is not a cheap knock of, it is of impecable standard and the gentleman I brought it from had nothing but top stuff. I know exactly what the Achille lamp looks like and this lamp is equal in quality.

That looks like a harvey Guzzini version of the Arco, if its a US version then it was made by Laurel. The shade is different to the others Ive seen but the base looks right, if it is either of these then it is good...no need to convince yourself.

am guessing this is "en hommage" to the Arco. it does look like the materials are of a good specification. The Arco is not easy to move around, though the shade is simply genius and I would own everything by Castiglione. This example is a more 'domesticated' product more easily moved in the home environment and doubtless, given the reduction in the mass of marble, more affordable.

yes Killian I live with the Arco and a plastic pendant Guzzini, this shade does resemble the dimensions of the guzzini shade.
