Here's the exact....
Here's exactly the same frame, supposedly from 1968 (so that would make them cheap chinese furnitures from the 60's... 😉
I've found this on modcats.com

Not 70s
I agree, surely not original 70s pieces. Where did you find them?

The point...
This is so depressive... the point was to find where they were from...not judging their authenticity... now i'm in doubt... Are they too clean? I only own the sofa...I'll take close picture of is construction and try to put it on this site... meanwhile, i've found this photo, also from modcats...What are the points to consider to assure the authenticity of 70's furnitures?

The
quality of the welds might be an indicator as to origin; are they clean, free from bumps under the chrome finish ?
The upholstery on the first pieces you posted looks almost unused too ?

70's furniture authenticity
From now on, where not speaking about ID anymore...I don't care anymore, what I care about now is authenticity. I took pictures of some details of the black sofa (the only piece I own).
-I'm from Quebec, Canada
-Bought this in quebec city last week in a second hand furniture store. It was sold has second hand, (not as "antiquities") I don't care about it's value.
I'm new to this forum...in fact it's the first forum I ever got into. So i'm a newbie and I do not know very much about design, I only appreciate it...
As I read in other post, I know that some people are upstet about the id's. I'm sorry to be part of that movement and I would like to thanks everybody that helped me out so far...

Allen key?
Allen key's aren't hexagonal? Because all the screws i can see on this sofa has square holes. Maybe it's not clear on the picture Since the use of robertson's screws were mostly in Canada, could it means a north american design?

It was more the point that they dont seem to be chromed showing a lack of quality which would push them nearer the modern copy suggestion. But anyway all this fake or real hoo haa is nonsense you bought them because you like them surely that is the main thing.

Indeed
Yes, you're perfectly right...This sofa is awesome and I like it...I think I went to upset by the chinese 2000 blabla... like as if everybody was in bad faith... And even if it has more than 30 years, that does not make it "old"... there's older stuff than that....
Thanks for your time
