What'd you say, LRF?
I couldn't hear you-- the upholstery's too loud.
I think the chair is lovely, but ruined by the garish fabric.

"Garish" means
loud and flashy... lacking in subtlety.
No offense intended-- I like the chair, just not the fabric. I think the chair deserves better.

Hello Willian, no problem... I think it's soo normal... Somebody like, somebody don't... I like a lot some "strongs" colors in furn from 50s 60s... I don't know if it's correct, but your garish means you don't like fabric who cause shock and impact... Do you prefer light things... is it? Sorry, but my english is strong like "nail in the sand"... Do you have this expression "nail in the sand" in english?
