For me Brazil has always been so romantic. My mother visited back in the mid/late 60's, and shared some wonderful stories. Brought back some bossa nova, samba records and some art that I fell in love with during my college years. Wish she hauled a freight container worth of records and furniture.
Brazilian design seems largely ignored by the international community....I for one, appreciate you sharing these pieces.

That table has a Finn Juhl vibe to it, but even more exotic. Maybe his Rio line? (if he didn't have one he should have)

Hello my new friend...
Thanks about words you wrote about Brazil. I like a lot furniture from 50s60s (it's my nickname here, hehehe) and here in Brazil we realy have some beautifull pieces and a few people know it. Normaly people just know one or two design from Brazil (like Sergio Rodrigues etc) but we have more than it...
About "i w c b w a p" it's means "I will come back whith another piece", hauhauahuahua

Hello dashes, it's near to "I will come back with a photo"... but ok... it's can mean "I will come back with a photo" too, hehehe... But, at the first it was "I will come back with another piece". This frase is correct? My english is a little crazy, hauhauhauah

these pieces are beautiful.............
I know of Brasilia and Niemeyer ..
.and some of the 70s pieces- Lafer etc.
but these early pieces are just wonderful, they sing, they are full of life ..just wonderful

Hello my friend... Do you like lafer? I have 3 pieces (sofas and armchairs) from lafer in my small collection... after i take some pictures and post here... I like Lafer's furniture a lot....
