Selling this stuff is easy - many people want it. Nothing to brag on. Keeping it - now that's bragging rights. No one wants to hear, "I used to own all this cool stuff, but I sold it." It just makes it obvious as to where your values are. Not with sentiment, or with design, just with money?
Congrats, I hope you do something worthwhile with your loot.

What am I missing?
Why's everyone being so nasty to this OP? He's sharing his parent's pretty remarkable collection of original Eames furniture, and not even because he's trying to sell it to us.
Whattsamatter if he already DID sell it? Maybe he needed the money for something that was a higher priorty. The furniture's now being appreciated by those who gladly traded cash for it. He's got the cash that he preferred over the furniture, for whatever his reason.
A resounding YEESH, to all you crab apples. (You'd prefer maybe a fresh round of Mahogany Association posts? That could BE arranged.)

The thread was almost a year old.
And he comes back just to say "ha ha".

Noted.
But even the April comments were pretty harsh.

IIRC
At the time, he posted several threads with the same photos, and each thread had a different "angle" to it.

Simply put, OP is...
Simply put, OP is manipulative.
Posts by OP demonstrated no interest in DA and the people of DA or design other than as a resource to gloat, help me, gloat more, market, sell and then gloating about selling. No different from all the other ID/Valuation/wanna buy threads, just more strategic and manipulative.
Forum search Vermont yields one other self-serving post.

Donation
Perhaps a small donation to DA would be in order?
