I have acquired 8 HM DKR's, 4 with the screw on feet and 4 with the later boot. My question is, the 1951 version has been repaired/welded crudely by former owner, while the boot version is nearly perfect. Does the early version have enough value to have them repaired or are they common enough to just rid of them? I will try to attach a few pics for your reference.

What's the point?
You're never going to repair anything that janked to the point of restoring value. And that's what you're after, right? Value? Of a monetary nature? Why not just switch the later wire seats with the earlier to maximize return?

If you're selling....
You would probably be best off parting them out. The first gen Eiffel bases are fairly rare, if in good condition.

By rare, what is that in hard value?
Thanks

So $150 would be fair?
For each?

Bases have repairs too.
They are great looking from about 3 feet away!
