I just went to a Target store in San Jose, CA and they had 60w "Chrome dome" bulbs in their home improvement section. My wife and I looked at them for about 5 minutes to find a reason to buy one. Bulb was $5.

I only call them 'chrome dome' because I like the alliteration.
I too have bought a supply of them, they'll probably be the last to be copied when they become obsolete !
I've never seen chain pulls in this country, I guess you would need to get them from the US ?
