Hi Everyone

I was just wondering has anyone stumbled upon this chair
online or in real life. As I am trying to find out who designed
or manufactured it. All I have been told is that it was originally
purchased in France and is circa 1950's.... Any help would be great.

Thanks guys

Looks like an
Eames shell trying to fly, and dreaming of life as a Bertoia diamond. . .

Yeah I know
Yeah I know what you mean, when I first saw it it reminded me a bit of the
organic chair - Eames+Saarinen did for the MoMA's Low Cost Furniture Competition in 1948. Ironically not so cheap now. Also the womb chair too..

I like the form. What...
I like the form. What throws me off is the pillow playing cushion.

I don't
recognise it as a Robin Day chair, as much as I like it

If you can give me a side view, I may have an answer for you.
