This is such an interesting chair.  I believe Danish, but I'm not sure.  It seems to be teak.  My guess is that this is a mix of mid century modern with a contemporary twist.  Does anyone recognize it?  I'm not even sure what to call the legs.  To me, they look like a wishbone.

Thanks in advance!

I don‘t think it‘s Danish. Looks American to me.

Interesting.  Does it look familiar, like a particular designer?

The Star chair by Adriano Balutto for Domitalia is a modern version.  I believe it came out in 2012 and is no longer in production.

That's it!  I didn't realize that it was so new.  Thank you Mark737.

You're welcome.  It's a beautiful design.

This recent design called "Ode A La Femme" by Olivier de Schrijver has similar lines and is even better, I think.

Okay, Italian. I stand corrected. 🙂

I was looking into some other chairs by Italian maker A. Sibau and noticed that they produced this "Star" chair as well.

According to this site, they were made in the 80's and some online listings say 80's as well.  They shared this picture of the table from the same collection

Sibau apparently started in 1964 and went out of business in 2005, which means this chair had to have come out before 2012. Maybe it was re-released by Domitalia in 2012.  I could not find anything that connected Balutto with Sibau, so who knows if he was the original designer.
