I'm utterly exhausted and am stuck. I'm trying to figure out who the designer was for this unique Widdicomb Bedroom set. I thought the set might be part of the Titian Collection. Now I'm thinking Titian is the finish since I found identical tables; one marked Titian and the other marked Walnut on 1st Dibs. In general...I'm finding mixed information to no information everywhere I look regarding this set and the few similar pieces I found. Every listing claims something different. I'm at about hour 40 researching this set. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to know the truth. I am loving the history of Widdicomb to being bought by Stickley.
The set was made in 1963. I've read past auction listings and some "sold" items attribute George Nakashima as the designer. Some attribute Robsjohn-Gibbings, but he was only there form 1943-1956.

I wanted it for my home when I saw it, but now I think it might be too valuable to own when we have 3 dogs. I have two Adrian Pearsall Sofas we already aren't using due to a puppy cushion incident. It has a little damage on the top of the nightstand(basic wear) and dresser(appears to be some nail polish). We will clean the set. Then decide if we should keep it, sell it "as-is" or refinish it. The flyspeck can be a bit annoying. I think most of the basic wear will disappear with a good oiling.
I love researching things especially beautiful MCM pieces. However, I've hit my limit and would really appreciate any assistance. Thank you!
