Hello!
I acquired these bronze outdoor lounge chairs with side tables a few years ago. I was told they were Walter Lamb but cannot find any identical pieces online. There is only one stamp on one of the chairs that reads, KURT VOSS METAL INC.
Can anyone help me identify these please
Kurt Voss Metals was a company in San Antonio Texas. Started by Kurt's father Theodore in the 1920's and then continued by Kurt, and now his son Ted and grandson Garrett as Ted Voss Metals. I think the company name changed from Kurt to Ted around 1979. They made a lot of custom metal work for buildings and homes around San Antonio, but there is not much info online about furniture they made. You might try calling the company at 210-654-9935 and asking for Ted.
The picture here is Kurt as a boy with his father Theodore in front of an entrance they created for a building at Texas A&M in the 1930's.
Yes, all the info available online indicates that Lamb only designed for Brown Jordan. It's very unlikely he would have designed for a small Texas company like Voss. There is very little information out there about Lamb - can't even find an obituary. The most informative details I could find were here on the Forum from 8 years ago:

In the thread I linked, Pegboard mentions Wright attributing some Kipp Stewart chairs as Lamb also. It happens at the best auction houses. I have dealt with Wright on a few pieces and have found them to be very professional and careful about attribution. If they did list your chairs as Lamb, and not "in the style of", I doubt they would make the same mistake today.
