walking around in a small fea/ junk mall i saw this table base labeled as a "mid century coffee table base"

looks like a mies van der rohe pavilion table base to be but the dimensions seem to be off unless there was a smaller size offered. it deff has some age to it.

thoughts?

There are vintage copies and knock-offs dating pretty far back. If the dimensions are incorrect, it is not authentic.
What is the material your base is made of? The almost matte sheen makes it appear that it might be aluminum.

The way the legs meet at the top center is already an indicator that it is not the Tugendhat/Barcelona table by Mies Van der Rohe.
Also a quick look at Knoll.com would have answered your question right away.

It is still a good usefull table base though regardless of who made it unless it is for flipping, then it will not get as much.
