Hello friends

Any idea who this rather lovely coat stand could be by .. there are no markings at all

I'm pretty sure that's the same one that some friends of mine own but theirs is bright, glossy red. It's wood. I'll look at it next time I'm over there. I know they never figured out the designer or manufacturer either.

I did look at it back then. No marks at all. And the finish isn't a red lacquer as I thought, it's a true red stain with a high gloss clear finish. The woodgrain is clearly visible. I think it's probably beech but I didn't really look for that.

thanks for getting back - the "spokes" have a lacquer but the "pole" is like you say a stain with a high gloss clear finish. The woodgrain is clearly visible .. very similar ..

still found no other info ..
