Trying to ID this solid rosewood and leather chair  

Have you considered Fredrik Kayser for Vatne Lenestolfabrikk ?

I found two images claiming it is a "rare" model 715; (no supporting documentation)

It has a lot of similarities to model 711 which, on the other hand, is well documented !

It could be a starting point for further research.

It must be the model 715 by Kayser, found a sold pair at Utopia modern in Oslo which should know what they are talking about.

Now i just need to find another one!
