Hello, I purchased these teak chairs off Craigslist and cannot find a stamp anywhere. The chair backs tilt. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I have added a picture of the back. The hardware has been replaced - anyone know where I can get brass hardware?

Thank you.

They look like by Sigvard Bernadotte.

Yes, the Count. That is correct. The backs are upside down, and although there is not a clear shot of the back side, it appears that the brass connectors might have been replaced.

While I have not owned these chairs before, almost all France and Daverkosen/Son pieces were marked in some way. If there are no easily-seen medallions, there may still be a faint impression with the gold paint long gone.

Maybe the marks were sanded off?

The set I gave my sister & brother in law if I remember correctly was retailed in the US by John Stuart...

LOL Leif

I wouldn't have identified these in a million years. Never seen them before.

The two seater was also in the set of dishes called 'Homemaker' by Enid Seeney for Ridgeway Potteries in the UK in 1955.
