Hello everybody,

New on this forum and I'll start with a question: I found this..."thing" today and I have no clue about its use or designer, maybe a part of something bigger...

It made me think of Panton stuff so I took it home...

It's made of glass fiber and painted in bright red. There's is a little sticker saying made in Denmark. That's it, and it's obviously not a piece of Lego...

Any ideas ? 🙂

(Sorry for the bad pictures... It was raining and I had to drop it quickly in my cellar)

Thanks for your answer and all these details, this being said my question stays unanswered :).

Whether I got it for free or paid for it isn't the subject (I actually paid for it). My question wasn't so much about how much it is worth but who designed it and I have no problem to accept this object (it is certainly not a table as the top isn't flat and it's too low...).

I would think that it's maybe an ottoman or so...

All other suggestions are welcome ! 🙂

I don't know what it could be either, but it's also kind of hard to get a good idea of what it actually looks like from your photos. I couldn't tell that the top wasn't flat, for instance, because the only overall photo was taken from above the thing. If the camera is more or less level with the object, you will get a better image of it. Several photos from different angles will give the best overall idea of shape & proportions. Photograph it against a plain background if possible; other stuff in the frame is distracting. I know you said you didn't have time to take better photos but you can always add more later to a thread.

Measurements are always helpful, too.

But yeah--sometimes nobody knows. Sometimes you get an answer months later if the right person happens to see it, maybe someone who sees an old ad or brochure or some other evidence in the interim. That happens fairly often here.
