Be patient, some pieces are obviously easy to identify while others require research. Not all here have the free time to do homework or spoon feed information for others while they wait. You have an excellent looking sofa, enjoy it while while it waits to be identified & no designer name or pedigreed brand do not make your sofa less excellent. Demanding anyone for an ID will not make anyone enthusiastic researching the background of your piece.
Yes, some of them left. But even with everybody on board there wouldn’t be a guarantee for your sofa to be ID’d. The wood is walnut, as I see it. That makes an American production likely. And the American market is huge.

Reason is obviously the fact that this forum was not available for a long time, or better, it didn't work for a long time, and even the whole archive was lost.
This was a real disaster for all experts, who shared their knowledge since years for nothing. Result: most of the experts disappeared.
