This is the only one I saw that appears to be the same cabinet, though with different legs. It's currently for sale by a Swedish dealer called Schalling Studio. They list it as a "Very rare sideboard designed by Hans Wegner, Produced by Ry Møbler in Denmark. Teak and oak.1959,Mid century, Scandinavia. Dimensions (W x D x H): 200 x 50 x 79 cm" You could try contacting them to see if they have any more info.
I also noticed someone selling some old Salesco catalogs on EBay that include Wegner for Ry Mobler. You could try contacting them to see if they'd send you (for a price, I'd assume) any photos of the Ry/Wegner sideboards.
Yes, @mark737 strikes again. Good work! (@lexi may be on holiday?)
I spent a good 9 minutes searching and closest I found were Ry model 25(?) with metal legs. Not among Wegner's most inspired work, I must say. But those wooden legs certainly take it up a few rungs on the ladder, no? Nice find either way. Seems unusual if not actually rare.
@tktoo I hope Lexi is on holiday for her sake. If not, it's just as likely she found the same listing and didn't respond because the seller did not include a model # or reference to back up their Wegner attribution. My standards in this regard, as I suspect in many others, are not as high.
And yes, a nice score regardless.
