Hi, I have a couch which I think is a Afra & Tobia Scarpa Bastino but it has no tags. I opened up the pillows and noticed a stamp on the inside that said SA naugahyde 2 -70.
When I look online the backs usually only have 2 sections but mine has 3. Also it does not have the screws on the side. This makes me question the authenticity
I thought maybe it was the 1970 because of the stamp inside the fabric
@mz3, Images of Gavina 3-seat models online display different construction of the back frame as well as exposed screws and distinctive arm-to-front leg mitre joint. I'd suspect it's a knockoff, too.
