I recently found this sofa at a garage sale. I know it is teak, but do not know anything else. I cannot find it online anywhere. Does anyone know who the designer is, value if restored? Any help at all is greatly appreciated. I dont believe the straps stapled are original in the pix but the cloth might be on top of the springs.

Thank you,

I would wager it is not teak, and is marked "made in Yugoslavia" somewhere.

I would also wage that it is either stained beech, faded walnut or some other thing, but not teak.
If it really, truly, is teak, then that would be quite surprising and pertinent to identification, as it absolutely does not look like the sort of thing that would be made of teak. So take some sharp close-ups with decent lighting of the side grain and end grain and post them.
